Which type of paint hides imprefections in plaster ? matt or soft sheen ?

Matt paint is best as a soft sheen when the light is shining on it will show all imperfection in the plaster work underneath

Matt. If your plaster has not been sanded smooth or you have waves in your wall I really liked doing a Faux or textured design. Have done this is older farm houses when cost was a major factor and none of the imperfections were noticeable afterword. Takes little more time to do but the outcome is wonderful!

what type of imperfections? if it's cracks then both would cover but the cracks would in time reapear they will have to be filled in, rubbed down and paint
