I plan to put up a cereal bar and café. any good suggestions for the paint color and design of the place?

Medium brown (little darker than color"Buff") and turquise green look awesome together and very eye catching or light tan and light blue are cool too! AlsoBlk,White, Blue and Silver are easy on the eyes with a touch of sophisticated.smile. You could do a complete 360 and go for bright colors...yellow and green...Light blue and light green very soft looking together. Think of colors you favor and go from there. If kid related alot of booths. If more adult like I personally like the high Bistro Tables(2 high chairs and small round table.more intimate)Remember we don't usually pick out things that we will be around alot that we don't like right? So a cereal cafe painted and filled with the things you like...how could you go wrong when project is complete...smile. Good Luck and Happy decorating.
black and white
Black and White Checkered sounds nice for the floor. For the walls I would do a pastel.
Do something different like a light green.
Come to think of it, that would not look good with a black and white checkered floor. So consider what flooring exists when choosing a color.
