What color could i paint my room that matches this?
Question:http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/products.asp...
I think if i painted it a blue color it would look too blue. I don't want the room to look dark. But i don't want the walls to be too white. I usually like really bold colors.
Thanks
Answers:
i would say a nice creamy colour but you could have maybe a coffee or toffee colour
I like the color they used in the pic. Tan, cream color, or neutral.
Not blue. Not brown.
you could try only painting one wall a very bold blue and to the others a different color just a different shade of blue? I know a lot of people have been doing that lately...but it's up to you
I think the light brown on the walls in the picture would be a good choice.
Also, you could go for a darker brown on one wall and a light color everywhere else. Or paint the lower half a darker brown and the upper half and lighter brown.
That's a difficult one! lol! I would go with a neutral cream on the walls, and add accessories that match in that green/blue colour
Maybe a shade like they show in the picture, or something in a cream or off-white, then add things that are the colors of your bed. Example some candles that shade of blue or a framed picture that matches.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH pizzapie's COMMENT. I LOVE THE COLORS THAT THEY ALREADY HAVE IN THE PICTURE! IT LLOKS AWESOME! I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT DO A BLUE.
well...playing off the colors of the bed, I don't think I would pick the chocolate color. So I would either go white or teal blue, and since you don't like too much white you could paint it all teal blue, or maybe do some sort of pattern that combines both white and teal blue?
if you are a girl hot pink if you are a boy red
A lovely chocolaty brown would be nice. A tan or beige. Fall colors. Or you could go with the Aqua or Teal to match the main color in the comforter.
I agree that the blue would be too much blue. I would go with a brown color since that is the less prominent color. I don't think I would paint the whole room with the chocolate color. The wall color in the picture would be a good pick and use your wall art and curtains bring in the colors.
That comforter is really an aqua blue, so what I would do is get a paint color that is a soft aqua blue, many shades lighter than the comforter. Then I would trim all woodwork with white enamel to break up all that aqua blue. Then accent with the chocolate brown with throw pillows, area rug etc.
well i would choose a color similar to the color in the picture.but maybe just a little bit lighter shade.
natural and light color is much better you can do two tone of cream .light on top half of the room and dark on bottom half of the room and then put wooden dado rail in the center you can do the dado rail dark brown with varnish it will look nice. good luck.
A light blue green might work well, although the taupe in the photo is another good option.
How about a deeper blue for behind the bed & a lighter blue for the rest of the room.
or a chocolate tone behind the bed, & then either a contrasting blue on the rest of the walls or
a nice taupe on the rest of the walls. Or contrast with something completely different like salmon or raspberry or apricot.

http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/color_... go to the far one color visual and you pick a color that would look good I would lean towards a blue but there are many shades of blue or aqua that would look nice
Try ivory or white from the print, or a caramel similar to the picture.
Add light and medium aquas and chocolate accessories
[ drapes, rug, pillows, candles, vase, etc. ]
