Is drawing/writing (in sharpie) on one of my bedroom walls a good redecoration idea?
Question:Is it a good idea to write or draw on one of my walls a good idea? If not, what are some other things I can do? I am a teenager, and I want to redecorate my room without doing much painting. I like oldies rock bands and art. I play guitar(I have 2) I was thinking about an urban rock(?) theme, or something like that.

Noooo, don't do the sharpie! You may think it will be fun because you can give your room a creative flair, but you may not like what you drew a few years down the road.
I too like oldies rock bands and art. I decorated my room in that style. I have a deep purple carpet, white trim and dark gray walls. I have a white and black swirly bedspread and lots of throw pillows; purple, white and black pinstripe, and some old band tshirts that I didn't wear anymore (like nirvana and led zeppelin). I have two wall shelves, one painted white and one black. On it I have some old records that belong to my dad (pink floyd, led zeppelin, the beatles). My guitar stand is in the corner of my room beside a comfy little chair that I normally sit in to play. I dedicated one of my walls to my art, I have in total six 8 x 11 black frames that I got at a dollar store. It's awesome because when I create something new that I like I just switch it into a frame of my oldest piece on the wall. It also kinda motivates me to keep creating something new. I have a big whiteboard too, and it's fun cause I can draw my little heart out and not worry about it being permanent. Also when my friends come over they like to write something on it too.
Hopefully you can get ideas from some of the stuff I said. Happy decorating :)
No sharpie would look dirty not cool.
Ok, I drew on my walls with sharpie and now I hate what I did! Put funky pictures on your walls and poster! Pick one wall in your room and only put posters on it, not on any of the other walls!
Urban Is Sweet!
No! It will cost you hundreds of dollars when you go to sell the house. Use wall paper or other less perm decorating ideas.
Sharpies are a bad idea; they are very difficult to remove or paint over, and someone is really going to be mad at you in the future. Do something on foam core board and attach it with 3M
poster tapes. Be sure to clean the spot you are sticking the 3M tape to with rubbing alcohol and let the spots dry--30 seconds or so. Good Luck!
why don't you use posters.try it and you gonna love it!
u must be friggin stupid 2 do dat. dont listen 2 anybody else. take it from me it aint gonna look pretty. How bout u just frame a picture, and put it on your wall
You could always buy a few rolls of shelf liner paper to cover your walls with first and then draw on them. Just be sure that the sharpie wont bleed through the paper. I did this when my kids were little and they use to color my walls with crayons. It worked great. When they grew tired of something I would peel the paper right off and they could start fresh.
No because if it does not come off then you can't sell the house unless you paint the room all over again and it will take hours
Only use a sharpie on the wall if your parents say it's okay. If it's not, ask them to get you some poster board, draw on that, and frame it.
Take the largest wall and use it as a doodle board for you and friends, but use washable markers! That way you can change the artwork!
Or paint one wall with the stuff blackboards are made of and use colored chalk! It is fun, eraseble, changable. and if you have a black light and neon chalk, it will glow!
