Get lighter colors so it looks cleaner and not as kiddy. So dont paint the walls a pink, do a lighter blue or yellow, or turquise. If possible, get a white duvet cover. You seriously wont get it dirty. Then get colorful accessories, it looks a whole lot better then having bright colors EVERYWHERE. so leave the colors for the accessories, not the wall color and blankets.
