What do i use to cover the carpet and tile where they meet?

Question:the gap between the carpet and tile is about 2". please help i've bought like $50 dollars worth of coverings and grout. the grout just looks ugly and the ones that you nail made me crack my tile.

Answers:
How about some matching tile if you have some spares or can still buy some. You could cut 2" sections that would take the tile all the way to the carpet. Or maybe find a 2" strip of a nice wood like cedar, oak, or cherry that you can router and make rounded edges to put between them.

use the metal thresholds and you would have to drill holes thru the tiles before you put the nails thru them so them can penatrate the wood flooring under the tile.
