How long does it take for a painted room to dry?

latex flat paint dries to touch in 1 and half-hour. It may be re-coated in 2 hours. Oil is 6-8 hours and can be recoated in 16 hours.
depends on the brand of paint. Latex dries faster than enamel, also depends on the weather @ your house, can you open windows and doors for air circulation? Should only take 1-2 hours..Read the directions on the paint can, it will give you the estimated time.
