Different and unusual teen room makeover redo ideas?
Question:anyone have any ideas besides the regular stuff for a teen room redo: go to target and ikea and paint furniture and paint the room bright colors? any different, unusual or outgoing ideas.

Whatever you decide to do, set a budget first!
This following budget is approximately $100. You could get sheet cover tapestries that match current bedding which are about 10- 20 dollars a piece and hang them loosely across the ceiling for a design above you.Then get coordinating square pillows to be used on the floor for seating. This new style can be used to cover the ceiling and walls without having to spend time painting and without running the risk of getting paint over objects in the room. Pillows under 20 dollars each can be stacked in a closet and tossed on the floor when company is over.
*Remember to take caution and never leave the room if you are lighting candles in it as tapestries could become loose and catch fire.
my daughter is a naruto and anime fan so we went with a pine 4 poster bed with red satin with gold swirls(paisley) comforter and red gold and black pillows. some with gold tassles We got a piece of lino sprayed the back red, painted on the japanese symbol for love then trimmed the symbol with gold highlights and put a simple gold frame around it. The capet is light beige as are the walls. The windows have red and gold (similar to bedding)

for my son who is on his bed playing games all the time, I got denim comforters and shams, made faded denim, and yellowish (like the denim stitching on the comforters) throw pillows, and on his wall he has his Canadian Flag and his licence plate collection. His room is on the west side of the house so denim curtains with exaggerated stitch line in yellow. The light maple twin beds look great, and he has room to have a friend over.
