Help!! Need a Bedroom Theme for a shared room! Details inside?
Question:So I'm a teenage mom and I live at home still, but I share my room with my almost 2 year old child. I can't figure out what to do in the room. I need some help. I don't mind some childish ideas. Since I do like Superman and all that, but I don't have much money and I don't want it to look outright like a kids room. I want it to look a little more adult. Does that make sense? Well I hope someone can help me.

Maybe choose a solid color comforter & curtains which you should be able to find pretty cheap and just accent with some kid-theme throw pillows. You can also find a lot of blankets or throws with Spiderman or whatever that you could use somewhere in the room. I lived at home with my parents after I had my daughter too, so I completely understand the sharing of a bedroom with a little one. Its like their stuff totally takes over.
I just had to figure out a theme that my two children can share, that would be good for a 7 yr old boy and 4 yr old girl.
I went with a beach/surfer theme. With pics of surf boards, beach balls and such.Really Cute and they both like it alot.
You can always do the fish tank / aquarium theme. Sort of like the beach theme, you can use beach towels, put up fish decals, clear shower curtains, (stick-ons do wonders on cheap shower curtains.) Paint the walls light blue, like water, sand colored rugs, starfish and shells... You get the idea, and it sounds fun to me. (no kids, just love summer!)
I know you said a BEDroom, but just think of how warm you can feel in a home made throw, or comforter you have quilted yourself out of beachtowels! It doesn't have to be hard to do!
