There are any number of designers that have approached this idea from a thousand various angles -- and many of them have had outrageous success in the input that they have given on the subject of "effieciency" living !!
The idea behind what you are talking about here centers around what is known as "modular" and multi-tasking furnishings as well as living spaces that can be "transformed" into several different applications at the mere flip of a few switches !! Some of the most successful ideas have been put in place in operational designs within such products as RV's !!
The main reason that such ideas are not FAR more successful is the FACT that most people are not nearly concerned about living in smaller, more effiecient spaces -- they are interested in living in Grand Mansions of unused spaces with vast areas for the accumulation of untold masses of pocessions !
there are a alot of interior decorators who are into this
and in foreign countrie u have it like this so it will be here sooner or later...
I just watched on TV today about that Lady. She designed and build a home not larger then a parking spot. I don't know if that would be it for me. I like to have lots of living space around me.
anything is possible if ter is cooperation... so we can work it out together to give it a try...there is no harm in tryin..
