Does anyone have any tips on turning a junk room into a guest room?
Question:i have a room with a perfectly good queen size bed in it but i haven't had anyone come over so it has slowly turned into a junk room. i now have 6 weeks to turn it into a fully functional guest room and i was wondering if anyone has any tips as you get discouraged when it seems like you are not getting anywhere.

step 1 would be to dump all the unwanted clutter and junk. Then clean up what's left and maybe re-arrange the furniture and put in some nice clean towels/sheets/flowers before your guests arrive
If you havent used it, or been looking for it in the last month, its probably never going to be used. throw it out
have a sale at the gate with the junk
turn the room round the other way you had it
or give it a spring clean this should put you in the swing of things
work dont just sit and waste time make work your hobbie
throw away stuff you know you and your family are never going to use, and the try and use some of the stuff and make something new to put in your guest room.

have a yard sale quick and take some stuff to the rescue mission. while ur at the mission, maybe u could find a cute bedspread and knick knacks for decorating...maybe a cute rug and lamp...to make it look all cozy..
