Color for exterior?
Question:What color should I use to paint veneer on outside of my house. Brick color is cream. Also is there a way to clean the brick and , make it look nicely without paying big bucks?

To clean the brick get a box of TSP from the paint dept. Spray it on with something like a miracle grow sprayer. Let it sit for a couple of hours then rinse you may need a scrub brush for heavily stained areas. This even removes well water rust stains. By veneer are talking about trim. If so I would just make sure it goes with the roof and doors.
...I would use colours that match your neighbors house, especially if you have a Home Owners Association... and using a pressure washer will clean brick...
If you want a high resale value paint your house yellow...there have been studies that say buyers are attracted to yellow homes.
Power wash the brick. You can hire someone or rent a power washer and do it yourself.
For the brick question, I'd go through with a high pressure water hose to clean it, and then afterwards, go back through with good ole fashion water and soap. You can also try adding to the water Oxy Clean or the Orange Clean, that takes away a lot of residue and buildup and things like that.
i dont know what color you would want to paint the veneer but maybe try a creamish color or light brown color to bleand with the brick.umm try lemon juice and salt.or just ry to use an old toothbrush and clean the grout with hot soapy water adn it will look new and like the brick should look like that because of the clean grout.
You can rent a pressure washer and clean the brick . Do it on a warm day you'll get wet.
Pick any color ,white ,brown, blue ,green, any thing you like and will go with cream. Its your house and should fit your personality.
