What things match or look well with a black leather sofa? As in what colors should i paint the walls, etc.?

For a more sophisticated look, I'd go w/ a warm taupe (paint the ceilings the same color). Continue a monochromatic scheme w/ pillows & rugs in taupe, black, cream, & grey patterns & solids, w/ a touch of color, like deep teal or burgundy.

For furniture, you should use a dark stained wood.
Any color really. I have a black leather sofa in my house and I've chosen a black, red and white theme. Red rug and cushions, white tables and red, white and black accesories. i think it looks good anyway...
depends on the size of the room,,and the look u want.
if room is small,,lighter colors are best,,
if room is big,,u can be more colorful and deeper tones
if u have to use lighter,,pic up your color with accessories,,like colorfull,,deep,, burgandy,,or green,,or yellow
