Answers:
Are you talking about concrete pavers or a solid concrete pad?
If a pad - then I just had one roughly the same size (18x24 4" thick) poured for $2,000. I live in the Toledo, OH area.
patio pavers are between $12.00 to $15.00 a square foot installed including materials
t D has an excellent point.
If you are making a patio, it would be a bit more expensive to go with pavers than concrete. But..I'd *definitely* go with pavers over concrete. Here's why...
1) If you're in good health and don't mind working outdoors, and you have a couple of hours a day for a week or so, you can do pavers yourself. I've done it. It's very rewarding!
2) With pavers you can have them drop off the materials in your driveway and you can use them up as the installation progresses. No one driving a multi-ton concrete truck through your yard doing expensive, permanent damage to it.
3) Not that many people do pavers, and done well they look SWEET! It's designed, just not one-shade dull concrete. Nice chance to admire your work every time you enjoy the patio.
4) Pavers won't crack in the weather like concrete will because it's already in many pieces
5) Pavers are AWESOME for the resale value of the home. They look great and they're kind of rare at homes. I put in a paver patio at our house in town and it looked so good that a year later I expanded the patio. The new owners like it so much they are expanding it again! They are a huge selling point in a home and I estimate that they added at least double their installation cost (keeping in mind I did the installation myself) to the resale value of the house. It's easier to expand a paver patio than to expand a concrete one.
Good luck!
