I need help to choose some nice shutters. I would like something to look like wood but more durable.?

Question:what is the difference between plantation shutters and other kind of shutters. any tips where can i get them and who can help me with measurements and installment.

Find someone in your area who carries Hunter Douglas window coverings. The company is based in San Jose but has a large distribution system and really great warranties. A huge product line, all custom made. If you can't find it with them, it probably isn't made.
