Does a frige light go off when u close the door?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, There is a little button on the side of the frig door,
that is pushed in when you close the door, turning the light off.

yes
Yes. An automatic switch is activated when you open the door.
climb inside the fridge and ask someone to shut the door ,hope this helps u out
yes, you'll notice a switch that the door hits as it closes. if you push on that switch, the light will go off, even with the door open.
yes
Yes, and to prove it, I sawed a hole in the front of my refrigerator door to prove it. Now my milk spoils, but a small price to pay. Also, if the light bulb is burned out, it will not come on when the door is opened!
Usually, yes. There should be a little button somewhere on the hinge of the door -- when the door presses on the button, the light goes off. You can press on the button yourself, and satisfy your curiosity.
Of course not! The mushrooms would get scared!
Oh I hope so, My carbon footprint is big enough already without the guilt trip of wondering if it's off or on.
yeah.
there's a lil man/woman in there that switches it off when you shut the door.

there's a sensor, leave the computer go have a look.
press it in & hey presto the light goes out.
cool huh?
shame they can't invent other lights that go out when people leave the room!
Yes, there is a mini-switch on the door frame that is depressed when the door closes, switching the light to off.
try it. shut your fridge door 2(that meens not fully if u didn't know)and you will see their is no light
Off course. If you look on the side of the fridge door there is a swich that is pushed by th closing of the door that switches the light off.
Yes, mine goes off before the door is closed and doesn't come on straight away when it's opened. I'm thinking of taking it to obedience classes.
erm yes, is this a trick question?
As long as it's the fridge door you are closing ... you didn't make that clear in your question... ;-)

There's a "push-to-break" switch that interrupts the electricity to the bulb when the door is closed. On the hinge side of the fridge you should be able to find a protruding button that, when pressed, switches off the fridge light.
LMAO! That's a real good question! One for an appliance repair person, perhaps. When you find out, let me know...,ok? Thanks! :-)
yeah, its goes off when u close the door.
yes, there is a little lever that breaks the circut making the light "glow" when you close the door, the circut is broken and the light goes out. when you open the door, the circut is complete and the light turns on!
haha
i can imagine myself shutting my head in the fridge.
lol

yes the light goes off.
i mean, there's no point of the light being on when its shut

i believe that the light comes on in the first place so you can see wots inside the fridge. it could be pitch black u know
Of course Why do think I'm in the dark and its bloody cold in here.
Yes a frigde light does go off when you close the door.

hope this helped!

Amanda!
Of course I climbed inside and my partner shut the door on me so I know for a fact that it goes out
This is deep and devious. A latter day form of Zen, like the sound of one hand clapping.
yes
