Bedroom Decorating. ♥?
Question:I am going to paint over my room sometime, but i dont know what colors or design to paint. I dont want one color. I like patterns and shapes. Please give me some ideas you can think of, or what your room looks like. ♥

Well im painting my room Chocolate Brown. On one of the Chocolate brown walls in putting Hott pink, light pink, and white polka dots (in various sizes). I found a reversable hott pink and light pink for my comforter. Im gonna but brown pillows (that have designs on them) on my bed to bring in the brown. gonna get a light pink rug and a pink chair. Im also putting a huge D (in white) (but u would use the first letter of ur name) on a wall between my 2 closets in fancy writting.
thats what i plan to do with my room in a month. i love the idea that its like loungy and starbucky. maybe it'll work for yuo too.
I think it would be soo fun to have a room where there were overlapping circles stencillled on the wall. seperate your walls into a top and a bottom. on the bottom pick a solid color, let's say magenta(make sure the colors kinda dark). on the top, paint it light pink. next, make large circles, using stencils on the wall, in every shade of pink. you don't have to put them around the whole room, just in clusters here and there. good luck! and, you can use any colors you want, just make the bottom a darker color and the top lighter!
I would look at some pics on the internet... I have found some great ones.. You may find exactly what you are looking for or find a room that has some elements you like, while finding others on other sites.. It is truly your likes and dislikes...
I know I have been wanting to redo my bedroom, but my dilemma is no money... I already know what I want and how I want it to look and it is something that I can do myself, we just haven't had the money to do it..
But we also have a headstart, because our bedroom is in a trailer and the walls have wallboard that has the most beautiful lilac and blue flowers on it. But it covers all the walls from floor to ceiling, which makes it hard to see pictures that are hung, so I would like to paint the one half or the other and put a chair rail around the whole thing to separate it... I think it would look awesome in any bedroom...
