My room is so hot. it is an addition and it has to air. I have two fans running and only one window.?
Question:My question is... where can i put the fans to keep it as cool as possible. I once heard putting the fan by the window is the best place. I have a door in my room that leads to the outside should i put the fan in front of that?

Sometime the temp can get so high that the room will never cool. However, your best way to keep the air moving to to create a cross breeze. One fan in the window and the other diagonal to it in another area of the room. good luck
I would put the largest fan with its back to the open window, so it can bring in the air from outside. The other could go in front of the door (if it's open) or just on the opposite side of the room to keep the air circulating.
Trade the two fans for one WINDOW FAN, put the window fan on reverse and suck the cool air from the rest of the house into your room.
Buy a small window air you could get one big enough for a small room for very cheap perhaps even in your local newspaper classified section you would be a lot happier than running fans.
Actually... Here's the best solution.
Open both the window and the door. You will need only ONE fan for this
Put the fan, in front of the window. BUT...Point it OUT of the window. So the air from the fan blows the hot air from the room, out of the window. As the hot air blows out of the room, cool air from the outside will flow into the room from the open door, at the same rate as the air you are blowing out of the room.
Only use this method however if the air outside is cooler than the air inside. As for how long it takes to cool down the room. You should feel the difference in temperature within 10 minutes for an average room.
This really works well, especially in the evening. Give it a try. I think you'll be truly surprised at the results.
ouch your room kinda is in a bad position. Heres what i would do put one fan in both places. Also keep your room
REALLY clean. and also doooooont leave open or any liquid in your room the only thing worse than a hot room is a hot humid room. hope iv helped
