Is this asbestos?
Question:I work at a golf course. In the building where the golf carts are stored there is a yellow-looking insulation that is hanging along the walls and ceiling around the entire room. The building is old; I think it was built prior to the 1970s. Is this asbestos? I am not sure, but I would like to confirm if it is. Here is a picture I took today:

not likely from the looks of it,however it is possible,testing is the only way to know for sure,fiberglass and asbestos onlly crossed paths briefly that i know of
This is a fiberglass insulation. If your guess as to the age is correct, there is a slight chance it contains some asbestos, but I would not consider it likely.
The only way to tell for certain if there is any asbestos content would be to submit a sample for testing.
I doubt it, they still sell yellow insulation.
Its just Fiberglass insulation. They sell it in PInk, yellow, white. It might have asbestos in it. Probably not. just don't mess with it.
lookd like fibreglass insulation to me. But you might want to play it safe and take a small sample for testing. Remember to wet down the spot you want to have sampled!
