Bedroom ideas?
Question:i am redoing my room and i have only 1 year till i am a teenager and i want to redo my room really cool but i cant think of themes...can u help i am a girl and i am a girly girl please dont say hot pink i need things like polka dots strips that stuff please help me!

hi, theres only a year til im a teen too, and i am redoing my room. if u live in australia, there is a cute pink and brown stripe and dot bedspread at bed, bath and table i saw, u mite like it.
also, stripes or dots could look nice on your wall, maybe on a feature wall.
there are alot of stripe covers maybe choose one with all different colors and then choose one as ur wall colour.

If you shop into a fabric store you will be able to find pink with black polka dots or vice versa, If anyone in your home can sew ,they can make anything, they have a myriad of fabrics from stripes to paint brush strokes . Or look into a catalogue for things that you might like.
Watch a lot of HGTV decorating shows for ideas, look through decorating magazines, check out the IKEA website for bedroom decorating, or send for their catalog, better yet. Start a folder of pictures of decorating ideas that you like. Take your time, eventually you will start to see a pattern in what you like and will be able to come up with a plan. Lots of times it's easiest to start with an "inspiration piece," like a bedspread that you really love. Then you pick colors and accessories that match the bedspread. It's easier to do it this way than to try to find a bedspread that goes with everything else you picked out. Also check out the Bed Bath and Beyond site for bedding ideas, and if you see one you like, print out a picture and look for things to go with it. Don't make things too silly or teen-agerish, as you will get tired of it eventually.
You could check out some bedding sets to give you an idea of what you might like. If you keep the pattern in your bedding and accessories, it will be easier to change when your likes change.
Check out Target, Pottery Barn Teen, JC Penney, Wake up Frankie, even if its just for ideas for colors and pattern.
a shoe and purse theme would be cool. purse look like throw pillows. fabric with shoes on it for curtains.
