How do you remove duct tape goo off the walls?

Question:Me and my family moved into this house like 2 years ago. One of the family memebers have become pregnant. So of course we are painting the walls over again. The walls are white. And we wont be able to paint until we get this goo off the walls. We tryed using a razor and clorox and all that stuff. So if there is another way out there then please let me know Immediately!! Thanx!

Answers:
Duct tape residue is tough-try a product called goof off-it is used to remove dried drips of latex paint but also takes off adhesives

Some say wd 40 will work but you will have to deal with the oil left on the wall

Lacquer thinner will work on a plaster wall or wood

You might be better off on drywall walls to scrape it real good and patch over the gouges with ready mixed joint compound.

Don't ever put duct tape on a wall again

Goo gone, alcohol on a cotton ball, light sanding with sandpaper
Get that stuff called goop or goo off
Eucalyptus oil and citrus oil are effective.
use skin so soft from avon.check a small spot first not sure if it wiil leave a oil stain.but works on all other surfaces
Try goo gone
Goof Off. Spray or liquid. Make sure the room is well ventilated.
Lighter fluid and/or acetone free nail polish remover.
try goof off then use a piece of fine grit sand paper don't forget to wipe the walls after finish sanding then use a primer tinted to the color paint you will use so it will save on the paint and the paint will stick to the wall better
Try WD 40 applied w/a soft cloth and rinse.
