Bathroom decor?

Question:I'm trying to figure out how to decorate my bathroom.

It's tiny. The floor is grey and white. The walls are white. I have a shower/bathtub, a toilet and a sink with no storage or anything underneath. Just the sink and the metal poles or whatever they're called. I have a tiny medicine cabinet that is missing one of the sliding mirrored doors. The lighting is the kind that is under a plastic-like cover over the cabinet. That's about it. It's very tiny. After the toilet, sink and bathtub, there is about enough room for two people to stand in it and not move. Oh, the only other thing is the 2 metal towel racks and my door is brown.

Here's what I'm asking:

How can I decorate this very inexpensively? I cannot paint or put anything permanent on the walls.

What can I do for storage?

Can I get a replacement glass door for the little medicine cabinet? Should I buy two new ones? How do I go about this?

What color schemes would you suggest? Details welcome!!

Answers:
since you can't paint, I would add color with accessories. Since grey and white are neutral, you can just pick any color you like--but maybe a bright color like yellow or green would work (see what's on sale at K mart or something). Buy curtains, towels, rugs, shower curtain etc. You can buy sink "skirts" that adhere to the sink and create a "curtain" around the pipes under the sink, where you can hide items for storage. (I've seen them in Carol Wright or Miles Kimball..catalogs like that). If you can, hang some pictures on the walls too (or is that considered "permanent?").

I purposely picked neutral colors for my bathroom tile, sink and tub so I could change the color scheme anytime I wanted to.

Hope this helps.

hello
if this is an apartment, the managers should fix the medicine cabinet. I would suggest buying the tiniest of nails and nailing up individual flowers. for instance, buy a couple of big bushes of daisys or similar flowers at hobby lobby or michaels. just use the flower head and nail each one to the wall in a checkerboard pattern. you could use all one color or multi-colored. then you can coordinate with towels. when you move, then remove the tiny nails and no holes will be visible. but if they are fill the holes with spackle or white toothpaste.
If you'd like to add some wild color, you could cover a wall in plasticized fabric (a table cloth or a shower curtain). Use colored or white thumb tacks just at the ceiling line and just at the baseboard line--make sure it lies smooth. You could also cover the wood sink cabinet in good quality contact paper (they even have aluminum metal at thecontainerstore.com. ) If you have a pedestal sink, then sew a sink skirt that attaches with velcro. Do you have room to stack up some storage boxes? Even beside the toilet. You can buy pre-covered ones (at many stores, some are very cheap) or make your own and cover with old wall-paper, heavy wraping paper, contact paper, fabric and ribbon etc. Can you hang a nice rattan shelf unit? Or put a single shelf up? (Ikea) Holes can be patched easily & you could touch up white paint easily. Then put your things in nice boxes on the shelf.
The medicine cabinet--may be cheaper to just get a new one than have mirror cut. Or, take of the door completely, put cute paper up on the back and arrange your things in cute tiny storage things. Get an inexpensive, brightly patterened plastic tumbler for your toothbrush etc--look at the summer plastic stuff at Target.
Use colors that make you happy--bright turquoise, ocean blue, sunny yellow etc.
