Re-doing my bathroom - color ideas?
Question:I am thinking of taking down the wall paper in my basement bathroom and doing a whole new color.. I can not decide what color to use.. the wall in the basement is wood and would like ideason a color that would go with the wood.. I love earthy tones and would appreciate any ideas

Oyster Shell by Olympic paint is a great Khaki green/brown. in some lights it looks more green, in others more brown but it is very earthy and looks great with accents of red-orange, or creams or beiges ( as long as they aren't in the pink family). also looks good with animal prints (towels for example).
Dark color's are best for bathrooms, however if you want an earthy tone i suggest green.
You could do a deep reddish-burgundy color for the bathroom. That color really seems to go well with wood. Good luck!
'monroe bisque' is a nice medium peanut color which works superbly with so many other colors but not every color so you still haveto be careful. the maker is benjamin moore
I second the green suggestion. A nice sage green would look great with the wood, and give you that natural look.
Red and white tiles! Or Light blue and white!
how about wall paper that looks like wood..or a light tan color.. how ever if you have children and you decide to paint i would go with the kind that you can wash with soap and water

ivory
warm beige
honey [ pale gold ]
caramel
leaf green
sage green
grass green
Or, combos of the above!
