Please help, I need to know if there is anything that will help remove the paint from the trim? Please read on
Question:Our apartment complex has this off white color already on it, we painted over that with the gorgeous green, but we ended up hitting the trim and the ceiling, is there anything I can get that wont remove the white only the green paint?
Answers:
I've used a couple of different products -- Goof Off & OOPs are 2 that I can think of right away. They can easily be found at any paint or home-improvement store. These usually work really well on trim and other smooth surfaces. The most recent paint comes off very quickly so be careful to use a little at a time. I've never tried it on the ceiling but I would think it would work the same there (unless it's one of those popcorn ceilings, ugh) in that case repainting could be the only answer. In any case, BE SURE TO WEAR SOME PROTECTIVE RUBBER GLOVES THAT ARE MADE TO WITHSTAND SOLVENTS!! These products will dry out your hands terribly!!
nope you have to paint over the spots with the white. painting is a pain...
Nope, you can only re-paint with white over it.
called: OOPS comeing a can ,about 1 quart, cost about $ 7
try sher willaims, only use small amount at one time ,ok
good luck
They sell a spray at the hardware store, i.e. The Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Ask the person at the paint counter.
i agree with angel
I would tape off your wall area at the ceiling and trim and repaint them. Or, put up a crown moulding at the ceiling and just repaint the trim.
