Moving services. Is this a good deal?
Question:I am moving 4 miles.
Everything will be boxed and reasy to load.

I suspect the $80.00 and $95 is a quote for an "hourly" rate, not the full cost. Remember the saying "if it looks too good to be true then its probably not" I would be very careful with this. If its possible to get a reference from them I would do so. How long have they been in business? That might give you a hint and also if you have a Better Business Bureau in your city, call and see if there are any complaints against this company.
I am totally using movers for my next move. I don't think my back can survive another one.
Be sure to take inventory of all your belongings. Take pictures of the expensive stuff, in case you need to prove that the movers scratched something. If possible label the boxes with the contents so you can tell right away if something is missing.
Be aware that if something is damaged or lost, the moving company will probably not give you replacement value. They will prorate the cost and give you very little compared to what you think the real value is.
