try http://www.hgtv.com or http://www.diynetwork.com ...

they have great ideas for ea of u'r room & usually give u the names of the colors they use on the walls
The darker the colors on the walls, the smaller the room will look, Why not try a beige or white and use the colors in your decor. It is very hard to paint over dark colors. But, it's your house do as you like. Have fun!
I love Sherwin Williams Color Visualizer. You click on the main color that you like (I recommend Marooned and Jasper) and it shows two recommended accent colors. Then you can click on "apply to room" to see how it will look in context.

I've tried other paint company color visualizers, and this one is mos def my fave.

I just picked up these samples for my house today and I love them. The Blonde is very light though. I like warm colors too and I painted each room in my last house a different color. This time I am trying to create more of a "flow" with splashes of color. I still have several more rooms to figure out but this is a start. These are all Sherwin William's paints.

if your going to paint interior rooms by yourself i recommend the wagner paintstick you can buy it at walmart for around 15 - 20 dollars they work great! makes painting much easier and less messy... easier cleanup too... the paint covers better too... and you dont waste so much paint...
