How long should I wait to walk on newly installed hardwood floors?

Question:

Answers:
if you are meaning that they don't have any finish on them yet walk on them all you want just don't get any part of them wet it will show dark spots.if you've have them sanded and coated give them 3 days and you can put funiture on them just not any type of rug for about 6 weeks.

dont, there good to go
i dont know
it depends on the floor. If its laminate like bellawood or the like then you can walk on it immediately.
If it is real wood, like oak, then you can walk on it when the sealer dries
if its been sanded and finished i usually tell people 48 hours bare minimum to allow the finish to cure. if is hasnt been finished walk around as much as you want. if you spill a little water on it its no big deal either. you just dont want water to pool and sit on the floor for any extended period of time. sanders actually purposelly get the hardwood wet when they are appying the stain (a process called water-popping) because it opens the pores of the wood and makes the stain take better.
