Bamboo floors In a dry climate?

Question:I would like to know the pros and cons of bamboo flooring in a dry climate (Arizona). A guy told me that it cracks if not in a humid climate, But do you think having a humidifier in the house would help? Also, These floors would be in a vacation home and would not have regular use.

-Thank you!

Answers:
Hi, It will be no problem which bamboo floor to be used in dry climate, the only thing you have to take care that is when you buy bamboo floor to be sure the moisture content of the floor lower than 8%, because there are different moisture content from different manufacturer.

Good luck!

i haven't dealt with bamboo flooring yet, but i don't see how they would crack if they were already kil dried when installed.i would try going online and searching for bamboo flooring and see what is said.
