Inexpensive items for around the apartment?
Question:My boyfriend and I are moving to an apartment (our first) and I was wondering if anyone knows of some good places where I can find inexpensive everyday items -to rugs, dressers, silverwear, towels, etc.
Anything that goes into an apartment, we're sort on cash because of college and the list of things we need goes on and on. The items don't have to be really nice, just something that will get the job done because we will be moving from our new place to another city within a year.
Thanks

IKEA and Target, both have inexpensive and stylish stuff!
try your local flea market for cheaper household items or http://www.freecycle.org/ for free items being given away by people in your community. www.Craigslist.com also has an extensive list of items for sale by owners
Enjoy your new apartment and happy decorating
i would look on the web first before actually going out and buying it because u might regret it later by saying''oh damn we shoulda went there .. we coulda saved 15 bucks on that same dresser back at so and so'' Walmart has really cheap and quailty things and they have pretty much everything
hope tht helped <3
Goodwill, sounds like you need to do some Saturday mourning yard sale shopping. Look for second hand stores in your area. My first apartment was furnished by driving around in alleys and picking up stuff. Also beg your parents for stuff.
Definitely hit the yard sales. And if you can hit an estate sale, you'll find good stuff too. Good Luck!
