Information on Findlays Limited Stove?
Question:Ok I am looking for information on an OLD Findlays Limited stove No.282! I have searched the web and looked in all the places I can think of but maybe a new set of eyes can help me out. I would like to know the value of this stove.
The only thing I have found is http://www.lib.uwo.ca/business/ccc-findl... and that doesnt really tell me the value.
ALl that is stamped on the stove is " Findlays Limited Carleton Place ONT No.282 "
Any help would be appreciated.

Unless you would by chance happen upon some sort of pioneer exhibit to discover your model stove, I think you should try contacting the present owner of Findlays Limited which was purchased in 1965 by Corporation D'Expansion Financiere, of Montreal, and became a partner in the Corpex Group.
Many companies keep archives, feature museums, and have access to historical company information. Ask them of your stove.
