Where can I buy luxury bedding sets on-line?
Question:DOES ANYONE KNOW A WEBSITE THAT SELLS SOFT LUXURY COMFORTERS AND SHEETS THAT WILL NOT SCRATCH AND IRRITATE! i WANT QUALITY SHEETS AND COMFORTER THAT i CAN BUY ONLINE. I AM IN A SMALL TOWN NOW, AND USED TO HAVING SHOPS AND UNLIMITED RESOURCES.REALLY LOOKING FOR SOMETHING IN PLUM,SAGE GREEN OR WHITE/IVORY.HELP!!

try ebay.but be sure you get a good seller...some will claim you are getting good bedding...but it turns out to be sh*t.
Have you considered bamboo? It's super soft and more breathable than cotton. Care is a little more difficult. Here's a link if you want to read about it.

Also consider overstock.com for bedding. I have found their user reviews to be pretty helpful.

Some things to consider:
Focus on fiber. Although cotton is best, if you do not want to iron, choose a cotton/polyester blend for easy care, comfort and durability.
Polyester does not breath.
If mattress is 18" deep, choose 20". Choose elastic all around edges.
If choose dark fabric, get additional pillowcases, especially if you are buying coordinating bedding or accessories. That can document color changes in laundering over time. Save your receipts and ask for your money back if sheets fade after laundering or do not hold up.
200 thread count is typical and fine. 400 thread count is finer and softer. The only difference above 400 thread count is price. Pick 200-400 that meets your other criteria. Paying for higher thread count is a waste of money. It is a marketing strategy.
I have purchased from Cuddle down and The Company Store and have been very happy. They are on line and carry a large selection. They have different weights in comforters. So, you can really adjust to your climate. You can also check out Bloomingdale's for luxury duvet covers and accessories.
