Do u think this colors would look good?
Question:my room is currently purple or lavender whatever. so ive decided on hotpink with black ill either do polka dots or stries with both colors. what should i do!!!!

I think your color combinations are wonderful. However, I would only recommend using black paint if you are surely going to be in the room for a while and understand that when you leave, it is going to be a hard color to get rid of.
Option I
Select the wall your bed will be placed on and paint the polka dots there. This is going to be the focal point of the room. The circles should be fairly large and should alternate in size. The way to do this is to connect a long piece of string to a pencil and using your hand, select a point and hold the end of the string with the free hand and using the other move around, it will make the perfect circle. To make them different sizes, you'll have to loosen the string. It might sound complicated, but if I have to I'll make a video with my camera and send it to you. In addition to hot pink, I think you should also select one more shade of pink to complement the scheme.
Option II
Using the wall that your bed will be on again, tape out stripes and paint your walls using the black (cautiously), hot pink, and supplemental pink.

That whould be hot! Pink and black are THE best color combo. If you do poka dots then make them big(not huge) because too small of dots would be too busy. Stripes would look fine as long as they'r thick. But i think you should do poka dots to step outside the box. It's not every day you see a poka dotted room!

Polka Dots would be good.
Hot pink is good and if you have old furniture spray paint it black. For your bed I would get a pink/black polka dot sheets with maybe some throw pillows in various pink, black designs. For the window get black sheers and a black scarf and then throw some wild pink material on top or make something hot pink to throw on top of the black scarves
