How much is it to get a contractor to get Roman Blinds to made & measure the whole house?
Question:I'm living in an Exec 5-room flat in Singapore & enggaging a contractor to make the windows install with Roman Blinds. I haven't got an inkling of an idea on the approximate cost.

Call atleast 3 contractors and have them give you an estimate. Usually the one in the middle is always the best value. The cheapest one might be trying to rip you off if the price varies to uch from the other two and the most expensive one might be overcharging. Usually the highest bidder will come down in price but be worried of someone who has to reduce prices because he is already being dishonest by giving you a price more than what he needs to charge to make a decent profit. I have worked in the construction field for 15 years so I know what I am talking about I have seen it all.

the first consultation should be free, they want your business and first impressions count, plus the price - maybe haggle over the price a bit? if they really want your custom they will come down a bit with the price but you may have to pay a deposit as a sign of good faith.
