How low do you have your thermostat set at? If you're trying to keep your room/house like an icebox when its 105 outside then it will freeze up.
It could be a leaking coil. I had the same thing last summer.
Your A/C unit was seen by a dummy who just did what he does to all of them. Call the company back and tell them they need to send someone who knows his A** from a hole in the ground, or you'll report to better business.
There could be many things, control problems, incorrect refrigerant charge etc.
