What are good ideas for a bedroom?

Question:I just graduated high school and i want to change my room from kiddy to more mature. Does anyone have any good ideas?

go to home depot or walmart and look at the paint samples. take some home and decide on a color for your walls. white is boring!!

go to garage sales and thrift stores-you can find all kinds of cool stuff-furniture, frames, mirrors, accessories that can make your room look cool. you can always repaint things, too.

the best advice is to watch hgtv home shows. my mom loves these and gets a lot of decorating ideas from them.

just consider your personal tastes and style and go from there. take down the magazine clippings and posters and put up artwork, for example.
