Tips for redoing my room for high school?

Question:i've had the same room since i was little, so i'd like to change it up a little.

so far i've gotten blue curtains. i like the colors blue (bright blue or navy) pink,silver, white. by the way im a girl.

i'd like some ideas to make it sophisticated, organized, and a fun place to hang out. thanks.

How about a beach theme..different shades of blue, a fake tropical plant and wrap some white lights around it..bamboo items in the room either bamboo color or paint white..some stripe bedding in shades of blue and white

OR

Ditch the blue curtains and have a pink, white and silver room..white walls pink beddings with lots of throw pillows in silver, pink, white and maybe a hint of black. Have silver lamps, hang pink and white sheers and scarves and then get something silver from them such as dangling stars.
