Are there any paints you can use on formica to bring back the gloss?

Question:

Answers:
Surprise, surprise, I saw a tin of melamine paint in B &Q UK it is made for formica and other laminate surfaces. Apply with a mini-foam-roller., don't use undercoat !!

nope!
No I'm afraid is the answer. Its because the Formica has been covered in a lacquer that gives it its waterproof seal. Once broken it can never be replaced.
no but Shelia shine works pretty well.
I wish they did have a formula that brought back the colour of the gloss but I'm afraid they don't. You just have to paint over the wood work again. The best gloss to buy would be one coat non drip matt gloss. Otherwise you will just get into a mess if your not a very good gloss painter.

Take it easy.
try baby oil on a cloth.
