What is the best method and product to restore a deck?

Question:I just bought a house and the deck is in good shape, but the wood looks a little weathered.

They make a cleaner you can spray on and scrub with a brush and rinse off. It's pretty easy to do, cheap, and it really makes the wood look fresh. Then when you're done, use a waterproofing agent, such as Thompson's, and spray/wipe it good, covering the entire deck. You can get a variety of colors also and this not only makes you deck look great, but will keep it looking great for years.
