How do you get the blueprints to your house?

Question:I need it for landscaping.

Answers:
If your house is fairly new you might be able to track down the builder of the house and try to get them from the builder. If not, try contacting the previous owners (if you're not the original owner) . You should be able to get a site plan from the local registry of deeds. If you don't know how to do that just ask a local attorney. Finally, if all fails, you can hire an architect to produce a set of drawings of the existing build (called "as builts") Good Luck !!

Depends on the age of your house. If it's not to old try the builder, or try city hall. Some town require blue prints to be approve prior to building and they may have a copy. You can always draw in out on graph paper or get a puter program for landscaping.
