Room colors...?
Question:do you think pink and brown are nice colors for a bedroom? any ideas where i could get a comforter to match it? It can't be too expensive though...any more ideas for decorating in my new room? i have an entire room to do watever i want with and no ideas!! HELP!!

To Cheeso. i ♥ that bedspread, i think its rlly cute.
anywayz, brown and pink are great colours. i think one brown wall, with the others pink, would look great. and some accessories from target or places like that, shouldn't be too expensive there.
if you are in the US- linens and things, annas linens, target are great spots- brown and pink were super hot all through the year so you can likely find lots of cute stuff.
Go to the local Lowes, Home Depot, any paint store, and pick up chips of paint color samples (more than one each). When you get home, tape the samples to the walls of your room, and take a few days to narrow down the selection to the one or two colors you like.
We repainted pretty much our entire house, and I have a boxful of color samples, simply due to the fact that paint chips may look one color in the store, and another in your room, depending on the amount and brilliance of light in your room, your flooring, etc.
Once you get the wall colors you want, keep all the paint chips and find complementary colors using the paint chips as guides (for example, with pink and brown, you may be surprised how nice blues and greens look against them, and get a comforter in those colors.
Our bedroom is pale green and the ceiling is pale blue; our comforter is a beautiful taupe tapestry. Have fun with colors.
Sounds like a good color scheme to me.Try getting a solid colored comforter,then put accessories around in the other color.That way if you want to change the scheme a little,just change the accessories.I stay with a basic white and do the color thing a lot.I shop at thrift shops so I can change my mind often.Give it a try.
