if you go to the container store or thecontainerstore.com you can find stuff to organize almost anything.
a cheaper way is to go to target or walmart and just get some baskets. you could put tags on each basket labeling the different groups of things you have on your dresser (ex: books, hair stuff, pens/pencils, movies/videos, etc). or you could also color-coordinate the baskets.

Buy the plastic organizers that fit under the bed, store the stuff you dont use on a daily basis. If needed, you can also purchase risers for the bed, raise it up and you have tons of storage space.
