How about fabric ceiling?
Question:I want to go to a a fabric store and and buy some thick strips of fabric and let it sorta flow is that possible?

I sounds cute but you are not*t going to be able to buy fabric strips, you will have to buy material and then cut or tear it into strips yourself. Why not just put the fabric on the ceiling as it? Thumbtack it up there in folds. Something like parachute material or nylon netting, or tulle would look beautiful. Or how about royal blue, and put some little glow in the dark stars on the net?
the designer Angelo Surmelis did this for someone on the show 24 Hour Design and I was wondering if it would be a bich to clean the dust from the fabric. the person would probly need a stepladder. yikes. too much work for me
There are also wide 'ribbon'. Not only from a fabric store but in a craft store - - colored wide plastic strips are also available.
