What is the difference between pink and purple?

Question:

Answers:
Pink is basically red and white mixed together. It is a "light" color, but you can have dark pinks. The more white, the lighter the pink. You can make different pinks by mixing in a very small amount of blue or yellow. Purple is basically red and blue mixed together. It is a dark color, but you can make it lighter by adding white. Again, varying the amount of red versus blue results in different varieties of purple. It is not the same color as violet, which is a pure color of the rainbow.
