Remove paint off wooden table?
Question:we have a beautiful wooden ( i think it's oak) table that i want to put in our kitchen, but at some point in time it was used as an "art" table. now it has paint all over it...any ideas on how to remove it? i'm trying to avoid completely stripping it.

id just use paint remover and then redo it
well now thats a problem but if you dont want to scrub it off just paint over it with a color thats not already on it like white or something .hope this helps!
I am not exactly sure where you are located, but Zar make a temedous remover that will remove virtually anything. Unless you know everything that is on the table, you will spend more time trying different things. Take your time, take it down, finish to your taste, and you will be much happier in the long run. good luck. www.ugl/zar/...
