That's really pretty.
You could suspend it from the ceiling beneath a light fitting.
It would not only make a lovely lamp shade, but would also be an interesting talking point for visitors.
If you have a really "girlie" bedroom or living area, it would add a nice romantic touch!
become a geisha girl
well, you're lucky as it's really lovely.
i would use it out in the garden on nice sunny days to be honest as then you won't have the full glare of the sun on you. i imagine you could put it up on your wall, but if it is really huge then it's not really practical.
Maybe if it's big enoughm you can use it to dress behind. J/K! Honestly, I have no idea what you could use it for.
sell it on ebay,
that's what I'd do with a cr@ppy birthday gift
I think there's several ways to use it: It's 32 inches diameter, so you could remove an overhead lamp shade, add a hook and hang it upside-down (well away from the light bulb for safety reasons) and use it like a lamp shade.
You could put it in a really, really large tropical drink. You could always design a room with an oriental flare, and use it as an accent. Use it to complete an oriental costume. Use it as a sun-screen at outdoor events, (although it would have to be handled carefully). A stage prop.
One could also situate it over a breakfast nook to provide interesting depth. Finally, you could always give to another person to challenge their creative skills.
Remember too, if you're superstitious about opening an umbrella indoors, this would severely limit it uses. :)
good luck
do u really want people 2 tell u what to do with it?
My old roomie had one, we used some string and hung it in the corner of our living room up at ceiling level in our house ... it looked really cute!
