What does your office/craft area look like?
Question:Mine's a cute little nook with a table set into it, there's shelving under the table and on the walls, I have paper lanters on the ceiling.
Answers:
I have separate rooms for our office and my craft/sewing room.
Our office has a large L shaped desk, and a couple bookcases. It's neatly organized.
My craft/sewing room is a mess! I have a large cutting table, two sewing tables...one with my embroidery machine and one with my sewing machine, an ironing board set up beside my sewing machine, two shelf systems, plus bins and rolling drawer carts, all stuffed. Plus, I have some bags on the floor with stuff I recently bought that I can't find a place to stash.
I love sewing and scrapbooking and have way too many supplies for each I guess, but I'm addicted to them both. My 4 year old daughter loves to scrapbook, too, so she's taken over half my cutting table for her projects, and some of the shelves and drawers for her supplies.
Oh well, messy though it is, playing around in that room with our crafts keeps her and me out of the bars. Heh heh
It looks like a mess with office supplies, computer parts, and tools all over it.
My office is well organized. I too have a large L-shaped desk and bookshelves. It doubles as a bedroom for my African Grey Parrot, Phoebe. My craft room is actually a sewing room equipped with a large table, shelves and cabinets. For big projects that involve tools or power equipment I use the cellar which has everything I need.
