As a side note, I bought high thread count sheets at overstock.com for much less than I would have paid at a department store. They were pretty expensive, but they have lasted a long time and are super soft still - no pilling!
I've found the best answer is Linens 'n' Things or Bed, Bath and Beyond. If you go to their websites, it's easy to shop and buy online and is secure. Really, any big chain is good for shopping online, but those two are the best. They have large selections on bedding and the prices and quality are always good. They also have good return policies! Good luck!

I have always used overstock.com to purchase bedding and I've never been sorry. Huge selection and low prices.
If you're talking about bedspreads, then I would definitley go to Macy's.com online. If you already looked at Macy's than look at Target, they have very elegant bedspreads, and if you don't like elegant they have modern, and bedspreads, for children!!! I got my Bedspread at Target!!

By far the best bargains on bedding and linens. 4-500ct sheets for CHEAP!! And there is always some type of special sale going on. Plus, they'll sell suites of items (duvet, sheets,etc}
I had to stop buying sheets! There are just too many bargains there
