Is having a "Themed" room in your house a good idea?
Question:Or should it be kept simple? Just wanted all your opinions

keep it simple. themes go out of style and a simple style will last a lot longer. In addition a simple theme probably appeals to more buyers should you decide to sell the house
If its your house, do with it what you like!
Theme rooms are fine for some folks, for others not so much. I wouldn't suggest one to anyone unless they have a lifelong love of something.
If you have had the same hobby or interest for more than 10 years and are still involved with that hobby or interest, a theme room just might work out for you. You have to really think about what you're doing with a theme room though. If you're 40 years old and want a theme room based on CareBears; that would just be creepy.

It isn't a bad idea. Having a themed room expresses who you are as a person. When a guest comes into your home, they will get a better feel for who you are. Which is what we want, we want our company to feel welcome and part of us.
