I need to spice up my room, what can I do?
Question:Okay, so I tried painting my room, and apparently, purple was not the way to go. I have posters up on my walls, but they're not all too exciting. If u have any ideas, plz help me out.

Try sponging another shade of purple on the purple you painted, or you could go with a different color altogether. Or hang some cool sting lights of a color you like. Maybe rearranging your posters might help too. Best of luck. By the way. my room is purple too.
black lights..but make sure you dont have no love stains in your bed... jk
Go to the thrift store. Theres lots of stuff there. It may not be to exciting. But try re-painting it. Or doing a 'Photo Montage' on it. Or making hand-made crafts, and gluing them on a re-fabriced lamp shade--then re-paint the base. Ugly things can be worthless, then you can fix them up and everyone will want one. Just keep an open mind.
ok... purple is great so add anthr color w/ jst a few stripes either going horizontal or vertical on ea wall or jst around the rm. OR add circles/ or squares or music notes or diamonds or put a faux finish over it w/ a lighter color... either lighter color of purple or chose a 2nd color like mayb.. lime green or deep yellow or orange... or tone it down & try white/creme/ off white or tan/ .. make squiggly lines or waves ...
Now as far as the posters go... invest in a few poster frames in black or silver which u can get at frame stores or Walmart etc... frame them up & lay them out in rectangle way or arch or vertical going up or down like stairs..
Add some pillows in u'r 2nd color & pick a 3rd color .. add some prints..designs.. cushions.. paint u'r lamps 1 of the 3 colors.. put up shelves & paint them the lighter of the colors or mayb u'r 3rd color ... put up those running lights they have in a circl or around the top of u'r room or the middle..
