I think that the first one is great for a teenager or students room, but the second one is more mature. If it were me I would get #2.
what r u trying to do in u'r room? modern... then the square simple one or more Parisian/Old World etc.. then the rod iron
LOVE the 2nd one!! get that one unless you really need the shelves on the first one, (which is also nice)
If you need the storage, I'd go with the first one. Otherwise, just for looks, I like the second one.
